Enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, skiing, ice skating, horse-riding and much more.

SKIING / SNOWBOARDING

Turracher Höhe enjoys an even longer skiiing season from November to mid-April.  At 1763m the ski resort is not only stunningly beautiful, but also snow-safe for decades to come.  Enjoy our direct access to the slopes and explore the 42km of slopes.

The Fun Mountain area offers the Snowpark, the Funslope, the Kidsslope and the Funcross

HIKING

Dramatic changes in the landscape between the eleven different hiking regions of the area make the hiking in Styria particularly exciting. The Gstoder mountain in St. Ruprecht boasts the most spectacular views of the Mur valley; the hike to the Zwiefeln glacier lakes are versatile and offers the most beautiful mountain panorama. Beautiful family hikes are also accessible in 'Turrache Höhe, such as the magical 3-Lake Walk.

BIKING

The 45km bicycle track “Murradweg” starts in Predlitz only 15 minutes away from Turracher Höhe. It is most picturesque between Stadl and Murau. Mountain biking can be enjoyed in many places and the Turracher Höhe is a small paradise with its various cycling tracks in breath-taking scenery.


The Turracher Höhe Trails will be open. A 7km trail over rolling doubles, bends, wooden walkways and more down to the Kornock station.

NOCKY FLITZER

In Turracher Höhe, the Nocky Flitzer is a must see. The Nocky Flitzer is an Alpine coaster that will whiz you down the 1,600m long track through the alpine pastures and forests.

MURTALBAHN

The city Murau is perfect to have a break and recharge your batteries and if there is not enough in the tank to pedal all the way back, the historical Murtal steam train brings you and the bike back to your starting point. A special attraction is the possibility to be a locomotive driver yourself. Under the guidance of an experienced driver, you are allowed to control the steam engine, whistle and valves.
